How we started

We founded Gaea in 2001 with the aim of providing a focal point for those interested in developing or furthering their spiritual practices. In February 2002 we opened our first shop in the High Street in Wendover and it was from here that we ran many courses, workshops and evening talks that we understand, judging by the feedback, have proven beneficial for those who participated.

In August 2005 we opened a second shop in Kingsbury, Aylesbury where we are building up a programme of courses and workshops running from this location.

Exciting new home for our Wendover shop

In October 2006 we relocated our Wendover shop to its current location in Wendover Dean – just down the road. It is here that the next exciting instalment in Gaea’s evolution really begins:

We have a shop that is stocked with beautiful crystals, unusual jewellery, enlightening books, relaxing & uplifting music, giftware and much more.
We are continuing our programme of courses and workshops at our new location.

So what’s the exciting bit?

At Wendover Dean, we also have a plant nursery which over the coming years we hope to develop into a place where you will come to re-establish your links with nature and the environment.

Emerald Nursery

We stock the plant nursery with plants and trees grown in this country and in many cases by ourselves. We will look to build awareness of the spiritual and healing qualities of plants. We will grow vegetables without artificial fertilisers & chemicals. We recycle as much as we can, migrating to sustainable energy sources wherever it is affordable and feasible. We compost and capture rainwater and use it in the nursery. We are building an inspiring garden for relaxation and rediscovery of our connections. We have plans to build a labyrinth!

Keeping in Touch

As part of our desire to reduce environmental impacts we have decided to build this website which we hope will become your primary means of keeping in touch with what is happening at Gaea. We will still produce some printed details but we hope that the need for this will be significantly reduced in the future thus helping to reduce our need for paper, envelopes, stamps etc. and of course to cut costs.
