Crystals
Crystals are transmitters, messengers and healers - and of course they are things of beauty.
With the arrival of so many books on crystals, widely available to all, more and more people are becoming interested in crystals and crystal healing. It is easy to read about and choose a crystal in a prescriptive way. This has been an important introduction to crystals for many people.
During the Introduction to Crystals class we work with crystals in an intuitive way, listening to the crystals individually to discover what they can share with us. We also begin to cultivate relationships with the crystals in order to find out what we can do for them. This two-way relationship is encouraged so that we do not just take but also give.
Our planet gives us all that we need to live and nurture life, but she does need us to give to and nurture her. Crystals can work with us as messengers for the Earth so that together we work with her, then all life is honoured and loved.
During the Introduction to Crystals class all the basics of working with them are covered, giving a foundation to develop a working and loving relationship with them. No experience of crystals is necessary to attend this class.
The class is for anyone who wishes to develop an understanding of how we can heal not only ourselves but also to build the relationship with the Earth, for it is from her body that our crystals are born.
Some crystals are here in order to help us restore the peace and harmony we so often lack. Our centre is at peace and in harmony with the universe around us. But when this centre is hidden crystals can help us to find the pathway back home. They restore peace and harmony to our emotions, mind, body and spirit.
Introduction to Crystals & Crystal HealingI initially studied crystal healing in a classroom setting, but it is not necessarily this type of training or the many books available on the subject that really teach us about crystals. Shamanic practice has led me to recognise that everything has a spirit or consciousness and as such each crystal has an individual spirit, each unique and each with its own wisdom. It is really only by communicating with an individual crystal that we can truly find out what it has to share with us at any given time. This relationship brings with it a deep sense of respect for what it is that crystals are so often willing to do for us and it can lead us to ask what they wish us to do for them. This introductory class is focussed on getting to know how to communicate with the hidden wisdom of the stone people, how we can work with them to restore peace and harmony to mind, body and spirit. This is an opportunity to learn about crystals and crystal healing in a gentle and supported way. During the class you will discover how crystals are formed, how they work, how to choose them, how to cleanse them, how to programme them, and how to use them for healing. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice. You will be encouraged to develop your own intuitive skills rather than relying on published lists of crystals and their healing powers. During the class you will realise how you can trust your own intuition and, by working with your chosen crystals, discover how crystals can help to bring healing to yourself and others. |
