Bards in the Woods - An Introduction to DruidrySo...what exactly are Druids? There are many books about Druidry and many schools of thought about how it can be practiced. But words only reach our intellect and, if well written, our emotions. Words cannot replace the experience of touching the earth, smelling the grass. They cannot reproduce a smile or a hug. And so it is that the only true way to experience Druidry – is to do it. Harrier and White Raven are going to spend a day in the woods at Gaea being Druids! And they would like to share this experience with those who are interested in finding out about Druidry. Real enthusiasts can join them for a 'start the day' rite at 07:30 followed by breakfast round the camp fire. Alternatively, come along at 09:30 for the first workshop. The day will end with a closing rite at sunset. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and bring food to share or join us for our camp fire fare. |
