Exploring TheTarot

Tarot is becoming more popular nowadays as it is gradually shedding its “dark” reputation. It is probably best known as a “fortune-telling” tool, but there are many more exciting possibilities.

Over the ten weeks you will learn the background of the Tarot and how flexible it can be. Tarot is a useful tool for spiritual development and personal growth, as a focus for meditation and as a gentle form of healing through comfort and guidance.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as those more familiar with the Tarot deck. You will be shown how to “feel” the energy rather than just to read the face value of the cards. The course will experiment with different spreads and you will be encouraged to devise your own layouts too. Tarot as an art form will also be considered and you will have the opportunity to create a card of your own. You will also be guided to “enter” the Tarot to meditate and how to use the Tarot for healing.

This is a certified course and on completion you will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement. Please book early as places are limited.

An opportunity to unravel the mystery of the Tarot with a well-known and respected tarot reader and teacher. This course will focus on the major arcana.

Intermediate Tarot Class

Chrissie Chevis is starting a 10-week intermediate level Tarot class on Tuesday 4th October. To do this class you will need to have completed Chrissie's introductory Tarot class. Each of the 10 sessions runs from 20:00 to 21:30 – cost is £120 for the whole class.

Advanced Tarot Class - NEW

This is the first time Chrissie has offered her advanced Tarot class at Gaea and it is intended for those who wish to become more proficient with their readings and perhaps even begin professional work. In order to do this class you must have completed the introductory and intermediate level classes. The class is taking place over the weekend of 8th & 9th October, 10:30 to 17:00. Cost is £120 (please bring your own lunch)
