Moon Gatherings For Women
Are you affected by the full moon? If you are, do you know the effects of the other phases of her cycle?
Do you feel alone and confused by your changing cycles? Do you have constantly changing energy levels? Do you feel the desire to help others one day and retreat within yourself to be alone on another day? Are you afraid of your ageing process or feel the need to control this changing you?
Did you know that it is tradition amongst the women of other cultures to support each other through these stages?
It is understood that we share much with the earth and the heavens above us and use that knowledge to know ourselves. It is highly likely that our ancestors did the same.
Understanding and working with the changing faces of women can lead us to living empowered lives. If we learn how to do this early enough the changes come easily and our wise years are embraced.
Learning with women as sisters and through the land and heavens we can recapture the time when women of all ages were valued for the gifts they brought. Let’s move through our years embracing the changing faces of women. Let’s live towards the years of the Wise One and value our sisters of the wise ages. Let’s be of use to our communities by knowing the divine nature of sisters.
Here at Gaea, loving and supportive groups of women gather to support and value each other – fostering a sense of belonging and understanding – of no longer being alone. These groups are positive and the air is light. We choose to love and honour ourselves for who we are and love and honour man for who he is. To live in harmony come along to either Moon’s Dance – which explains the changing faces of women through the monthly cycle of the moon, or to 13 Moons – a gathering for women fostering support and friendship through our changing faces.
Moon's DanceOur ancestors recognised the importance of the Moon’s monthly cycle. They developed an understanding of how to live their lives in harmony with her ‘dance’, honouring and working with each phase of her journey rather than fighting her powerful influences. This is a series of five workshops for women who wish to explore how the Moon’s cycle affects their lives and how to start living in harmony with her changing energies. |

Thirteen MoonsExplore through full moon gatherings the affects on us of this journey. Celebrate the journey of the 13 moons through drum, song, ritual and the sisterhood of women. Please bring warm clothes, a blanket and if you have them a drum and rattle. Newcomers are welcome – even though you may have missed the previous celebrations. |
