How to Book onto Workshops and Courses

To book a place then either phone the shop (01296 696789) or call in at the shop located on Emerald Nursery. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking.

There does appear to be a trend towards leaving booking to very close to the date. Sometimes course and workshop facilitators cancel events because there are not enough people booked on. If you are planning to come then please book in good time, then hopefully we won’t need to cancel things unnecessarily. When events are cancelled or need to be changed for whatever reason we generally only contact those who have booked and paid their deposit.

Balances are due 2-weeks before the event date. We can take payment for courses and workshops as cash, by credit/debit card – either in person or over the phone and by cheque made payable to "M Dedman".

Facilities at Gaea

Self service tea and coffee facilities are available for attendees of daytime courses and workshops – either outside on the nursery or in the house. There is no charge for this. If you are attending a daytime event you will need to bring your own food for lunch, unless advised otherwise.

There is a toilet at the house for use by customers of the shop and nursery and attendees on courses and workshops – it is not suitable for wheelchair access so please let us know if you have special requirements as we may be able to help. We have a ramp which allows wheelchair access to our teaching space via French doors at the front of the house. If you wish to use this facility please let us know at the time of booking so that we can get it ready for you. There is lots of gravel on the nursery and drive which is not always easy for wheelchair users – if you would like assistance please let us know.
